Push yourself with this fast and flat 10k in the heart of London. Great for beginner and veteran runners alike, the course loops around the scenic and ever popular Battersea Park. Come for the finish line goodies or for the chance to record a PB.

Golden Leaf 10K route

The course is four laps around Battersea Park in the heart of London.

The course is flat with a total elevation gain of only 62ft and many runners have recorded a PB on this course.

Raceday Logistics

The race will begin at 08:30.

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race in order to pick up your race pack and drop your bag.

Race packs can be picked up from the blue tent on the day of the race from 07:30-08:15.

Spectators

Spectators are more than welcome and will get a good view of the runners wherever they stand on the course, due to its looped nature.

The UK Sri Chinmoy Marathon team offer a variety of events from 2 mile races to a beginner's triathlon and our 24 hour race. The UK Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team have been promoting sporting events in the UK since the late 1970s. Sri Chinmoy was a spiritual Teacher, who was also a keen runner and saw running as part of his philosophy of 'Self-Transcendence'. Sri Chinmoy himself ran several marathons and a few ultra-marathons. His best time for the marathon was 3:55:07 in Toledo Ohio, 1979.
