Route information
The course spans a total of 8km and throws up over 50 unique and innovative obstacles throughout. Get ready for the some awesome team work exercises, the exhilarating 'Battle of Wessex' and the thrilling Lady of the Lake.
Be it as an individual, or part of a team, this themed event is the perfect event to keep you active in a new and exciting way.
Additionally there is the option of the Mini Knights Race, the Virtual Race, and the 16KM race (two laps of the course).
The Mini Knights Race is 4.5KM and adults accompanying children in the race must also buy a ticket.

**Car:

If approaching from along the A303 from either East or West, turn off at Podimore roundabout. Take the turnoff signposted to Langport then continue along the A372 for approximately 9 miles, through the village of Long Sutton, your quest will begin at a signposted farm on the right.
If traveling along the M5, turn off at Taunton J25, take the A358 signposted to Yeovil. Continue for 4 miles until the left turn on the A378, signposted Langport. Continue for 15 miles until the market village of Langport. At the end of the high street, on a hard left turn, take the right up the hill. Continue, at the T-junction bear right, signposted Wincanton. Continue for 4 miles and the Grail Quest will begin on your right.

The nearest train stations are Yeovil Junction/Yeovil Penmill or Castle Cary, dependant on your access to lines. All are a 15 minute drive from the start of your quest.
**Foot:
**
There are buses locally to the village of Long Sutton, they stop at the village green and from there the farm is a 1 mile walk. They also stop at the Halfway House, Pitney, which is also a miles walk.

There is a viewing area for friends and family and a larger medieval village than ever with axe throwing, archery, medieval weaponry displays, wholesome food and plenty of mead.
This is guaranteed to keep spectators entertained whilst their Knights are in battle, and all Knights once they’ve conquered their Grail.

How do the start-times work at the Grail Quest Race?
Start times are split into waves, from 1000 - 1300. Each wave has a different name and upon check out you can decide which wave you would like to enter.

Are spectators allowed?
Spectators are strongly encouraged to come along and support those taking part. There is an epic viewing area from where friends and family can enjoy the action.
