Route information
Come and join Zig Zag at their exclusive venue at Suffolk Running Centre. Whether you are looking to run 5k, 10k, Half Marathon, Full Marathon or Ultra Marathon, the brilliant Zig Zag Running team will cheer you all the way around. This event has a 7 hour cut-off time if you start at 9am.
There will be different routes each day:
Day 1 - Windmill - half marathon loop (road)
Day 2 - Clover - full route
Day 3 - Gallops - full route
Day 4 - Dalham Kiln - half route
Day 5 - Quackers - 10km loop
Day 6 - Golding Hills - 10km out and back
Day 7 - Chevington Chase - half route
Day 8 - Clover - half route
Day 9 - Kirtling - full marathon, Windmill - half marathon
Day 10 - Back Quack -10km loop
Each day will have a 5k & 10k turn around point.

Wave Start Times
You can choose the wave start time you would like when booking. If you start at 8 am you will have 7 hours. If starting at 9 am you will have 6 hours.
Age Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to take part in each of the races.
Cupless Event
Please note the event has gone cupless - so please bring your own bottles or cups for refilling.
How old must I be to take part in the Great Barrow Challenge?
All runners must be aged 18 or older for each race.
Will there be aid stations at the Greta Barrow Challenge?
Yes, there will be aid stations located at base camp, which is at the start and lap point of the course.
