The only grumble is bagging area was hard to find. And a way from the start. Luckily my husband came to watch and he walked the bags over. Me & my friend tried to find the buses with many others that had suit cases and they couldn’t find them. Not good planning on where they was at all

The new route was excellent. I think not going to Bournville is a shame but I liked the Jewellery Quarter section. The only downside was that I didn’t receive a medal in my finishers pack.

This was my first 10k race and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was fantastic and the crowds cheering us on made it such a great day.

Not as good as the old course as lack of support - used to go past pubs and houses where people would be outside - very town Center and industrial now so you loose the atmosphere

More seating required at the end, many people ended up sitting on gravel, not ideal.

The course was enjoyable and it was lovely to see a new route since the last time I did it.I have given a lower score for the organisation as it wasn’t too clear where the toilets and bag drop were. We followed the arrows which seemed to direct us round the back (which is understandable due to the amount of people and space). However once we got onto broad street, it wasn’t clear they were right at the top. There wasn’t many members of staff about so we felt like we were rushing then. Otherwise the staff round the route were lovely and they were at the end too! Atmosphere as always is great at big city events and it’s lovely so many locals come out to support runners.

It was great atmosphere with good setup of the event. The information point in the start line to help desk in finish line were all helpful. The crowd was amazing. The medal was fantastically designed. The course was hilly compared to last year though.
