Age Requirements
Great Bristol Run entries are open to runners aged 15 & over for the 10k and, and 17 & over for the Half Marathon.
The Family Run is open to all over 3 years old.
Race Packs
Race numbers will be included in your race pack which will be sent to entrants approximately 2 weeks before the event. This will include your timing chip, wave colour, arrival time, and approximate start time.
Once you have received your race pack, you must read all the information as this is important preparation and will make sure you enjoy your day.
Bag Drop
A self-service bag drop will be available for all runners on event day. All runners need to fill out their bag label (which is detached from their race number) and attach it to their bag before dropping it off. There will be security staff present but the organisers cannot accept any responsibility for lost/stolen items.
Live Photos
Your official race photos from the run will go LIVE the moment you pass a MarathonPhotos.Live photographer at points around the course.
Share your race number with family and friends and they can register to be notified as soon as your photos are online, as well as track your progress around the course.

No issues. Well organised.
Loved it, I found the warming up particularly funny
Seemed to be short of marshals in a few sections.T-shirt sizing bad - I took an XL and it is smaller than L from other events, also very thin/cheap material compared to previous years.Would be better to offer a discount on entry for those that do not want a T-shirt, or make the T-shirt an optional purchase. Extra charity donation is not really an incentive. We do need to be mindful of the environmental impact of producing 1,000s of low quality T-shirts that a lot of people may not actually want or use.
It was a fun dayEnjoyed itMore motivation to exercise
Great course, ran Bristol Half for a number of years & always love it. Well organised race event. Will definitely return. T-shirts are little small tho, the only negative factor.
It was all excellent, bag drop with buses wa brilliant, but they ran out of medium shirts.
Really good in most aspects but v v disappointed that you are using plastic bottles for water. So I am not signing up for next year.
There were not enough water stations around the course. And it was not clear how to get water at the end of the race
I struggled to find a water point to fill my bottle at the start of the HM. I had to scrounge some from a stranger!! The water point on the course was too far away to wait for
I enjoyed it, great atmosphere , the 10k course has changed since I last ran it, I didn't like it.Also the results only tell you your position and time in the race, it does not state how many people ran in the race. Its a shame the 10k and half marathon are run on same day, I used to run 10k and half marathon when 10k was in May and half marathon was in September.
