Poorly thought through use of combined start & finish for fun run and half. Very, very poor to keep the half runners waiting so long. "Goody bag" absolutely nothing compared to previous years, but oh well. Course is great if it's the right length. Very well supported. Organisers need to do a lot better on the day next time.

There was a delay, which obviously couldn’t be helped, but information was not passed to runners. The PA system was so quiet you could not hear anything they said unless you were very close to them. So once at the start line we waited for a very long time not knowing what was going on

really poor communication regarding the race delay at the start, terrible goodie bag. no water at the finish area, short course,, no t shirt, poor generic medal, positives were the amazing crowd support and having plenty of water station on the course.

Terrible start to a race, 50 minutes late with little to no explanation along the way. When finally allowed in to the starting pens there was zero updates. My carefully planned breakfast, warm up and toilet was completely out of the window due to the hugely delayed start. Good course in terms of potential for PB, brilliant support from the city all along the route. Great to have the pacers, Martin and his team mate for the 1:30 finish time, they were brilliant! Very disappointing that there was only water at the feed stations, fuel was needed when there’s such a delay in the start. Terrible good bags, really shouldn’t have bothered. Very average medal and ridiculously expensive race photos. Would have preferred no goody bag and free race photos which are normally available for free at most races. I’d only bother to race this again as it’s my most local 1/2 but if the next years is anything like this myself and many others would be put off for good!

Fast course with brilliant support, organisation a complete shambles!Completely unacceptable 50 minutes delay to the start at late notice & the course was probably short, goody bag may as well have been an empty plastic bag. On the positive side the crowd support was superb

I travelled from Ipswich to Peterborough in 2019, which was postponed on the day after three delays. On Sunday, when there were delays announced, my heart sank and I feared a repeat. This was a shambles, and it is something that messes with people trying to fuel properly prior to running. This was the main event, the showpiece, but reduced to a farce. Not sure I would travel the 100 miles again to get there. The marshalls did a grand job however, well done and thanks to them. Also, no tee shirt, not good.

Absolutely brilliant everything from the route, course marshals, water station stops and especially the Pacers, with a special mention for the 2hr 20 female Pacers who even hung around to get as many over the line as possible. Looking forward to next year. Thanks for putting on such an amazing experience. Xxx

Poor communication on delayed start. Enjoyed the race, although disappointed the distance fell short of 13.1 miles on my watch. The support round the course was fantastic.Water bottles with lids were a waste. Smaller paper cups would have been better. Goody bag was unbelievably disappointing and poor.Very expensive not to have race t-shirt included compared to other races.

Expensive - disappointing not to receive t short/bagLate startShort courseGood atmosphere at start/end and throughout courseNumber could have had detachable strip to attach to bag safe time. Finish pen was too small and crowded. Glad GER is back but it felt as though corners had been cut

The parking was a bit of a nightmare due to the road closures and by all means this is not a flat course..... really enjoyed the course though and the atmosphere was amazing.... would definitely do this race again.
