Great Welsh Marathon routes

Icon

The Great Welsh Marathon and The Great Welsh Half Marathon will start and finish at the Pembrey Country Park in Carmarthenshire.

The route will hug the coastline past Burry Port and through to Llanelli.

This is a fast, flat race and certainly one where runners can aim for a PB.

  • Did the Marathon in 2019

Very well organised..no delays at the start. Enjoyed the experience but crowds thin on the ground in places. Not sure I would sign up to a marathon with two loops of the course again-mentally tough watching half marathon runners finish whilst starting second loop.
