Course was short! Only 5.88 miles / 9.5km!No chip time, gun time only. Three laps meaning the hill of all hills up Bower Avenue three times!

Did the race in 2022
I booked this course because it was advertised as a flat course with PB potential and as I'm currently struggling with a knee niggle, I thought a flat course would be perfect. When we arrived we were told that we would be doing a three lap course which had a HUGE hill within Greenwich park at the end of each lap which took a good 4-6 minutes to get up each time. I wouldn't usually mind a challenge but it being advertised as a flat course was definitely inaccurate and could result in injury for runners like me who were expecting a flat course. The other and main downfall of this event was the fact it measured 9.5k, not 10k; I checked with other runners at the finish who all had the same measurement and we were told that the GPS drops out because of the hills which has never happened on a hilly race before and should have been taken into consideration if it was the case. I'm assuming that the course had been measured wrong which is quite frustrating for those going for PBs as I now have no idea whether I did get a PB or not. Not to be all negative the event was well organised, parking at Greenwich park was easy with loads of space available, toilets were available (20p charge to be paid by contactless), cafe on site and goody bag treats for post race as well as a fab medal, the volunteers were great and clapping you all the way. If someone could look into the length of the course so it doesn't happen at future events that would be great as I know a lot of people have unfortunately been frustrated by it being 500m short.

The course was about 500m short so didn’t count as a PB. It is definitely NOT a flat route. There is a long tough hill that we had to tackle 3 times as this was a 3 lap route. Still enjoyed the race however.
