Race around the gardens and tree-lined pathways of Greenwich Park in this 10k as part of the 3-race Royal Parks summer series. Suitable for runners of all levels, but take note of several hills dotting the course. Come for the bespoke finisher's medal and goody bag.

Greenwich Park, Royal Parks 10K - October route

The course is comprised entirely of tarmac pathway with a starting straight of approximately 100m, two laps of the park and finally a return along the original straight to finish. This course is suitable for runners of all abilities. Please always be vigilant of other runners, spectators, dogs, cyclists and other users of public footpaths and rights of way.

Results and Prizes

Results will be uploaded live to our website and, where possible/practical, timing print-outs will be available at the race. In all cases, results will be communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.

All finishers will receive a medal and a goody bag on completing the race.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall and the top runner in each of the veteran categories (V40/V50/V60/V70) for both males and females. Where possible, we will endeavour to present individual race prizes as soon as validated on the day.


Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number.

Race Numbers: : For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.

Toilets: There will be free toilets nearby, behind The Royal Observatory on The Avenue.

Changing/Showers: There will be no changing or shower facilities at this event.

Refreshments: Refreshments are available at the Pavilion Café, a short walk from the start/finish area.

Water Stations: There will be water stations on the route at the finish, passed on each lap, at which water will be provided in recyclable plastic cups.

Raceday Logistics

Registration: From 08:30 to 09:15.

Race Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted.

Timing: Chip-timed

Age Requirements: Participants must be aged 15 or over on the day of the race.

Kit List

For safety reasons, it is suggested that you run without music so you can stay alert and aware of your surroundings and other runners. This way you can also soak up the energy and atmosphere and unplug!

For racing we recommend you wear your normal running kit and trainers and don't forget to keep an eye on the weather in case you require any waterproofs.


Spectators can watch from anywhere on the course.
