About
Hairy Legs is 2 loop x-country run over beautiful hills and through stunning woodland. Each loop is measured as 6 Hairy Legs km (Hairy Legs km are pure guesswork as the course has not been measured). The Challenge can be completed as a Solo or in a Relay Team. There are also events for children and teenagers. Teenage Kicks 1 (school year 7-9) and Teenage Kicks 2 (school year 10-13) will do 1 Hairy Legs Loop. Little Legs 1 (school year 1-3) will do 1 lap of Sheepcot Field and Little Legs 2 (schools year 4-6) 2 laps of Sheepcote field. The race base will be at Sheepcot Recreation Field, off Gatehampton Road in Goring-on-Thames, RG8 0EN. Follow signs to the Railway station in Goring and the start is just 250m further along from there on the left-hand side of the road. There will be a free t-shirt for every participant in Hairy Legs, Teenage Kicks or Little Legs and we also plan to have a party and bbq to celebrate at the Catherine Wheel with a free Hairy Legs beer or soft drink for every participant.
