Did the race in 2022
Really enjoyed it as surroundings very pleasant to run in.

A unique historical background for a 10km and very picturesque. The first 5km was a fast course but the second half went onto grass and trail which was a surprise. My husband was pushing a buggy round and found that part difficult.Great winners goodie bag and voucher though, much appreciated but the classic Run Through flapjacks at the end were missed.

It's just a beautiful and runner friendly area. Nothing else to say.

the coarse was a bit bumpy .....

The only thing that let this down the man on the main gate knew nothing about the event and couldnt tell us where to go when we arrived he sent us walking round the main streets for 45 minutes before the race which was really bad I thought. But once we were in the grounds it was amazing and the rest of the staff were really nice.

Surprised that there was no parking arranged considering the amount of runners.Nice course, well marked.Very expensive considering only got a medal and couple of (revolting) snacks to eat.

Really disappointed with Runthrough and will never do their events or recommend them to anyone again. It was a very hot day and the course was in the open without shade. The ONLY water station was around 3.5km because they hadn’t measured the distance signage correctly. It was not clear that there was NO MORE WATER on the course. This was an important training event for me and my time was awful, because I stopped and asked several Marshalls where the next water station would be. They were useless - not properly trained, not paying attention since they were listening to headphones. I cannot trust Runthrough to organise safe events with properly trained Marshalls. It was awful as a result.

Having completed several runs in London I was disappointed by the muted atmosphere of this run. The village and its amenities was lacklustre. Whilst all staff were friendly and helpful, the amount of variety in the stalls was lacking. The warm up couldn't be heard by more than the first few rows. With regards to the course, the initial part along the river was lovely and the band was a welcome addition. The rest of the course over what can be described as the wasteland of Hampton, imitating the dry Savannah grasslands was unpleasant. The farmyard smells and the ability to see several kilometres ahead made this run torturous. Finally, the wooden commemorative chip did not even fit the medal, as the ribbon band is too wide.
