course was good but directions to the start were practically non existent.many people struggled to get there.. ...and one portaloo only......would have been nice to see some marshalls on the route for support and safety .only saw one........after race goodies were very generous .

It's a small event and as such don't expect the facilities and staffing that you'd get at the big City Road Races but I found it friendly and welcoming. No issues with finding the event despite it being about 2-3 miles inside the Forest. Not many marshals so you need to keep eyes out for the small yellow arrow signs. Medal was the best I've ever received and a bit different - Appreciated the fresh cakes and offer of chocolate bars and a bottle of beer (inc. 0% Beer as I don't drink alcohol)My only small qualm is that I don't have my official time yet and not sure where or if this will be posted anywhere? I used my own watch but just like to see how I did officially. It is over 24 hours post-race now. Thanks again though, nice little event with the most beautiful views

Friendly people at registration. Good email. Great snacks etc after run and fantastic medal.Could do with more obvious sign posting to race registration as soon as you enter hamsterley instead of run route.

Travel directions to the parking were not accurate. One toilet, no cups at water stations, marshaling was woefully inadequate. Beautiful course

The run was difficult up hill for the first 3 miles but eased in difficulty after that. The staff were all lovely and the finisher medal and goody bags were fab!

The parking was a nightmare to find. It ended up taking nearly an hour and was only supposed to be 20 mins. Only one toilet so was late starting. Great feel at the event overall though
