I wasn’t on the list to start (had to email and query) despite signing up and paying ages ago, no information on bag drop (had to email and query) and now just googled results and I’m not on that list either 🙁....didn’t really like the 4 boring laps of a park either, especially being Lapped by fast runners. However the people on the day there were great, Marshall’s very good, all lovely and friendly....lovely coffee shop pre-race and apparently according to my Apple Watch got a 10k pb (can’t verify as not on the list 😕)

Be prepared for a hilly course but what a fantastic fast route! Granted the laps do feel long but for the money you pay for entry it's pretty damn good! Would definitely reccomend to a friend

Enjoyed the run with friendly organisers. Was disappointed that I had to pour my own water at the end, nowhere to buy tea/coffee or food for participants or for people watching.

Multi lap challenging course, can be muddy if wet but very unable. A real old school cross country race with no frills, but very friendly and supportive. A nice change from the big city races

More of a 'cross country' event than a 'standard' 10 km run. Very muddy, with deteriorating conditions each circuit due to everyone running 4 laps. Advertised as 'a measured 10km', but my Garmin gave 9.77 kms total...... I thought I saw 'medal and T-shirt' in the advertising, but was told "no T-shirts - we provide a bespoke medal"....(maybe my mistake?...). So overall?, fine if you want to pay £15 for a fun-run. Would I do it again?..... probably not.

Terrible event, essentially 4 laps of a football field. It was also badly organised with only two toilets for all the runners. The marshals were friendly though.

The course was terrible - 4 times round a muddy and slippery Rothamsted Park with a tedious little double-back on each circuit to make up the mileage. Parts of the course involved peculiar little dog legs through markers which many/most people ignored. Not good. Registration and finishing arrangements were functional but OK. However, the organisers were very lucky it wasn't raining as there was no overhead cover provided at all. If it had been wet all the runners would have got soaked to the skin while waiting and after finishing. Atmosphere among the runners was friendly and supportive, as always at these events, but because the admin arrangements it wasn't a great, memorable or particularly interesting or enjoyable event. I don't think I'll bother again next year.

Chaotic organimation of the route. Poor communication. Course in parts was ankle deep in mud. The hills were a good challenge.
