Did the race in 2022
It was a hot day, dangerously hot so a lot of people did not turn up. Very few on the start line which didn’t help the atmosphere (not organisers fault). Lovely flat course along a nice part of the Thames. One criticism would be that there should have been another water station between mile 5 and mile 8. I heard other people asking marshals where the next station was. This is only due to the temperature of this year which was an amber warning and was over 30C by the end of the race in shaded areas. Marshalling was excellent and easy course to follow. Open roads but felt safe
