This sprint Triathlon takes place in the pristine countryside of Haslemere and the surrounding area. Situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park, this is a beautiful location for any sporting event.
Swim
The 400m pool swim will consist of 2 lengths in each of the 8 divided lanes. Taking place in the swimming pool allows a whole range of abilities to take on this triathlon, with no open water swimming to be nervous about.
Cycle
The 20k cycle route is hilly and takes competitors along quiet country roads and out into the beautiful Surrey countryside. Please be aware that this is a no drafting event.
Run
The final section of this triathlon takes runners 5k through the Marley Common Woodland, where the scenic route and a mix of undulating terrain make for a cracking finale to this brilliant event.
This race is a pressure free way to get into the sport of Triathlon, so come along to this fun and friendly event.

Haslemere is situated 15 miles south west of Guildford, and can be accessed from the A3.
Parking
Dedicated parking will not be available, but pay and display car parks will be available in the town.
By Train
Haslemere train station is a 10-minute walk from the leisure centre.

Event Information
All competitors will receive an email prior to the race with all necessary event information.
Start Times
Start times will be allocated with respect to estimated swim time (prioritising quicker times) and communicated prior to the event by email.
Participants will start individually at 10-15 second intervals to maintain social distancing, with a recommended 15 minute arrival window allocated and communicated prior to the event.
Race Numbers
You will receive your race number, bike stickers and swim cap on the day of the event. Your race number must be visible on your front throughout the race, your timing chip will be attached to this.
Participants will also be provided with an ankle tag and neoprene strap for the swim which must be returned on completing the event.
Age Restrictions
Competitors must be at least 15 on race day to take part.
Spectator Info
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation spectators are not permitted at this event.

There will be baggage storage in the transition area, with enough room for one small bag per competitor.
Does the swim start in waves at the Haslemere Triathlon?
Yes, the swim will start at 10-15 second intervals between 08:00 and 09:00.
Are there toilet facilities at the Haslemere Triathlon?
Toilet facilities along with showers and changing rooms will be available inside the leisure centre.
Will there be water stations at the Haslemere Triathlon?
There won't be water stations, please bring your own water bottle.
