Route information
Starting at the village green, the race picks up the trails promptly, descending from Medstead, one of the highest points in Hampshire, into some open fields and farmland. 8k into the route you will pick up The Oxdrove Way, a superb byway which gently undulates through the Hampshire countryside, the route then cuts South and takes you into a short, shady woodland section.
At the 15k mark, keep a look out for the trig point at Bugmore Hill on your left, followed by Godsfield Copse and some stunning countryside to your right as you drop onto some single-track trails through Wield Wood and into the village of Upper Wield. From there you'll have a flat run to the finish that enjoys a stretch along one of the Blended Trails popular Pop-Up run routes, the last 3k of the route takes you through the amazing Hattingley Valley Vineyards and back to the race village finish line.
This is a cracking route in the heart of Blended Trails running territory, it's been triple tested and Blended Trails are sure you’ll love it.

Did the race in 2021
A really lovely well organised event. All the marshals were cheery and supportive around the course, which was tough in that it was a downhill first half and uphill second half, but beautiful scenery all the way! Due to Covid we were set off in waves this year which led to quite a quiet race, with no one in sight for some parts but the course was well marked and easy to follow. There were plenty of food options at the finish, a hot coffee and chocolate brownie definitely warmed me up after getting pretty soaked while running. I'd definitely recommend this race and will look forward to coming back next year!
