The first Half marathon to take place in Havering in nearly 25 years!

Organised by local mental health charity Havering Mind, all money raised through entry will contribute to their efforts to support local people in the community who may be experiencing difficulty with their mental wellbeing.

Havering Mind - Half Marathon - October route

The route exits Harrow Lodge Park onto Hornchurch Road and Abbs Cross Lane where it continues into Hornchurch Country Park. Exiting the park into Berwick Pond Road, the route continues through the Upminster Lanes, taking in Hornchurch Stadium and the Ingrebourne Valley before returning to finish in Harrow Lodge Park.

What’s Included
Race Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.

Timing: Chip-timed.

Licensing: This race is expected to be licensed with UK Athletics, subject to approval, and the results submitted to Run Britain within a week of the race.

Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.
Raceday Logistics
Registration: From 08:00 to 09:15

When: Sunday 6th October 2019 at 09:30.
Kit List
Buggies/Pushchairs: This race is not suitable for runners with buggies/pushchairs.

Wheelchair Users: This race is not suitable for wheelchair users.

Earphones/Headphones: Earphones/headphones are discouraged at this event. We reserve the right to disqualify participants who cannot hear instructions as a result of their use.

No volunteers required

Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us at the Event village inside Harrow Lodge Park while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number. The bag drop will be attended at all times by our volunteers. Items are left at your own risk.

Toilets: Toilets will be available in the event village in addition to portable toilets along the route.

Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.

Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Mile markers where necessary.

Water Stations: Water stations are provided at regular intervals across the route and will be manned by volunteers.
