Route information

Get ready for the second edition of the Hemel Hempstead 10K, a chip-timed road race through the heart of town! Taking place on Sunday 17th May 2026, this fully road-closed event starts and finishes at the Riverside Shopping Centre, attracting runners of all abilities for a thrilling challenge.

The two-lap, 10K course takes in the pedestrianised areas of Hemel Hempstead town centre, flows through the charming High Street of the Old Town, and winds through scenic Gadebridge Park. With an undulating profile and a supportive event atmosphere, this race is perfect for first-time 10K runners and seasoned racers looking for a new goal.

Each kilometre will be clearly marked with flags, and enthusiastic marshals will be stationed throughout the course to cheer you on to the finish line.

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Portable toilets in the event village

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided at roughly the 2k and 7k points of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.

Results will be available here immediately after the race.
