The event was very well organised. Despite the rain and hail towards the end, the volunteers and marshals remained extremely friendly, encouraging and continued to smile.

This was my first trail half marathon -and it was the at the tail end of Eunice. I just wanted to finish and not in the ambulance - and I did that. The marshalls were cheerful and helpful. The only thing is the mileage signs could have been clearer. You pass certain places two or three times, so the team could have put up two or three mileage signs as a guide.

The race was well organized but relaxed. The scenery, with forest tracks and open hill vistas, was great. The course was well marked, with flags. and helpful marshals when needed. The late arrival of portaloos was dealt with calmly and flexible starting times adjusted to suit. A very enjoyable, low-key event.

Super impressed you were able to proceed despite storm Eunice’s best efforts!…. Not normally keen on a repeat loop but so beautiful it didn’t bother me. Lovely encouraging volunteers/Marshall’s too.

Great trail run despite the hills! Truly stunning scenery. Well organised and supportive/fun atmosphere. I’m not a quick runner and walk up the hills but still thoroughly enjoyed it :)

Organizers were friendly and helpful. Free entry to spectators. Lots of parking. This was my first ever 10k race. It was very hilly, pebbly and muddy. Might not be ideal for a first timer because of the steep hills but it was also because of this that I felt a great sense of achievement at the end!

Well organised in the sense of route / volunteers directing you! However, the toilet situation was awful! Only 5 toilets that only arrived 30 minutes before start time..
