Route information
Have you got what it takes to complete a Royal Marines obstacle course? Put yourself to the test and take on this unique event, which is the only way to experience modern day Royal Marines Commando Training. This exciting, but challenging course will recreate the mud, sweat and pain Marines have to put themselves through on a daily basis.
The 6k loop has 24 brutal obstacles, and demands a mix of endurance and agility from anyone brave enough to take it on. You can expect to encounter some of the following:
  • Mud runs
  • Cargo climbs
  • Tunnels and tubes
  • River crosses
  • Slippery slopes
  • Dramatic drops
This epic course will be a challenge for everyone taking part, but if that isn't enough for you, you can double up and take on the 12k challenge. Twice round the course means twice the fun, twice the mud, and of course twice the obstacles. That means 48 in total!
Hever Castle
The 400 year old iconic structure is fortified with crenellations, a moat and a portcullis, and represents British heritage and military success. What better venue to be the backdrop to this epic Commando challenge.
