A scenic 5 mile loop mainly on flat, fast roads, with a sting-in-the-tail at the 4 mile marker. This year the Highworth 5 is the Wiltshire AA county championship 5 mile event.

Starts and finishes at Warneford School in Highworth so is spectator friendly.

What’s Included

Technical t-shirt to all finishers, but only entries received by 20th March will be able to guarantee their size. If race limit is not met we will allow on-the-day entries, which will be + £2 to the normal entry fee. Trophies for overall winners and age category winners.


Home-made cakes and other refreshments will be available throughout.

We are a small, friendly running club located in Highworth near Swindon, catering for runners of all ages and abilities. Whether you want to compete in races from 5K to Marathon or simply have a gentle jog and chat, you'll find someone to join in with. We meet on various days through the week with a session dedicated to beginners at 18:00 every Wednesday evening. Wherever you run please ensure you follow the HRC code of conduct; this document also contains a few common sense guidelines.
