About
The Hogsmill 5 is a friendly ladies-only running race over 5 miles, organised each year by the Epsom Allsorts ladies running club. With no cut-off time, it’s a perfect target for absolute beginners and enjoyed by established runners too. The race is mostly flat, with start and finish at the Harrier Centre athletics track in West Ewell, and explores the picturesque parkland in the Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve.There are also children’s races over various distances on the athletics track before the main event. Parking, toilets and changing facilities are available on site.

Route information
The 2018 race will follow the new & improved 2017 route.
The 5-mile route is largely flat and explores the picturesque parkland in the Hogsmill Local Nature Reserve. It is a multi-terrain race and water will be provided at approximately 2.5 miles (4 km), as well as at the end.
Starting on the Harrier Centre athletics track with a 400m lap, the route heads along adjacent residential streets before cutting into the Hogsmill reserve, continuing to the duck pond and Ewell Court House. The course progresses along a couple more streets, then returns to the parkland and heads out towards Ruxley Lane, passing through another residential area before continuing through the nature reserve again. It finishes with a 400m lap of the athletics track.
Please note that the course is not officially measured, but the distance has been diligently checked using GPS devices and online route mapping tools.
