Route description
Route description

The course is certificated 8.74 miles and is left handed with a 500 yard slight downhill start/finishing straight. Terrain is mainly flat and on country bye roads. The course is well marshalled by members of Hornsea Rotary Club with support from the local police. Appropriate water stations are located throughout.

Logistics and schedule
  • On Arrival - Facilities & Number Collection.
  • Registration is in the School Room and is opened at 08:30.
  • Collect your number from Registration at least 30 minutes before start of race. Time tags will be given at the same time. Any discrepancies should be informed immediately to the Race Staff. Personal articles can be left, at owner’s risk, in the barn close to the tea stall.
  • Hot and Cold Refreshments will be available after 0900hrs.
  • Toilets, portable and fixed, are available on site. Additional toilets are available, next door, at the Wrygarth Inn after 0900 hrs.

There is car parking for over 400 cars in the field directly behind Race Registration HQ with easy access to start and finishing line.

PLEASE, please do NOT park on surrounding roads.
Please, especially, do not park on the start and finishing straight. Police and residents are concerned that the event causes as little disruption as possible.
