Challenging but scenic route. Well organised from start to finish and a nice T-shirt at the end. Will definitely do again.

A challenging, hilly course on roads which are marshalled but which remain open to traffic. Its an early start 09.30 so it can be chilly, this year we were blessed with sunshine and no wind which made for perfect conditions. Ive run this one for the last 3 years and have somehow improved my time by a couple of minutes on each occasion so to me this is the course I feel gets the best from me! The race atmosphere is great, both friendly and competitive with lots of local clubs and individuals represented. Numbers are limited to 400 I think, so its wise to book early. Theres no flashy medal at the end but the souvenir shirt is great, sensibly branded and actually nice for running in.

This was the 2nd time I entered the Huddersfield 10k. It's based at Huddersfield Rugby Club & run by Huddersfield Road Runners Athletic CIub. It was very well organised, parking was easy and clearly marked, we were guided in by Marshalls to the car park. Collection of race numbers & race t shirts was quick easy and friendly. The race itself was clearly marked and well marshalled. There were stalls selling running gear (especially useful for those who needed gloves etc as it was a fairly cold start). There were toilets & changing facilities on site. I would recommend this event.

Great event with a friendly support team. A bit tougher than I'd expected, but a very picturesque course!

Well organised with a few tough hills but very satisfying to complete. Rugby club had refreshments to buy and a lovely atmosphere
