Route information
This race is for a fantastic cause, with previous years having raised up to £8,000 for Humanity Direct, a charity which helps children in developing countries get the medical care they vitally need. As such, your £58 race fee is a donation to a great cause.
This course will take you throughout the picturesque Chiltern Hills and through some of its most notable valleys - Misbourne and Chess.
The ultra is split into three races: walkers, runners, and elite runners. Each race starts at a different time, with elite runners targeting a time below 6 hours.
The route itself will consist of 4 checkpoints, doubling up as aid stations. Checkpoints will consist of refreshments and food, as well as health checks. Details of these can be found below:

Car: There will be free parking available on-site.
Train: Services run from London Marylebone to Amersham every half hour - journey time is approximately 30-40 minutes. The station is a 10 minute walk to the school.

All participants must register before the start of the race. Please ensure you arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled race start time to allow plenty time to complete the registration process.

This is a fantastic event for spectators, who can create a great race atmopshere for the competitors.
Humanity Direct recommend that spectators base themselves at one of the four checkpoints. With the best spot being the quintessential Chiltern village of Chalfont St Giles.
FAQs
Will there be a medical team on-site?
Paramedics will be provided incase of any injuries during the event. Please let the Event Organisers know of any underlying medical problems before the race date.
Is there a time limit?
Checkpoints will remain open until the runner or walkers arrival. However, if you are late for two checkpoints then you will be pulled out of the race.
What happens if I got lost?
Emergency contact numbers for the race organisers will be provided on the maps handed out at registration. This is why it is crucial to have a fully charged mobile phone.
