Did the Amersham Ultra - Runners in 2019
A brilliant, yet challenging, day out in the Chilterns. Heartily recommended for 'ultra' beginners.Did the Amersham Ultra - Runners in 2019
All in all a good event. This is a highly runnable course, even when conditions underfoot aren't ideal (as was.the case this year). The only real complaint I have is the difference between the actual route and the information provided beforehand (on internet and maps provided on the day), as there were a couple of deviations that had a real mental impact as I had run the course during training. It should also be noted that the course is about 48.5km, not 50k as advertised.
