Hunters 10k

Smacking atmosphere along a very scenic route.  All roads were well managed when having to cross. Would definitely run again

Enjoyed the race despite heavy legs, will definitely be at this race again next year 

A really nice scenic run, Im not familiar with the area so I had an open mind as to what the course would be like. I wasnt disappointed at all. Will definitely be looking to do it next year.

The venue was very convenient being very close to the start line and I managed to get a parking spot near by.  The course was well marshalled and there was plenty goodies at the end.  I would definitely race this one again.

Wasnt expecting much due to high trainingbliad but surprised myself. Tough weather conditions but good underfoot all the way, well marshaled too. 

Really enjoyed the run. The course was great, just the right amount of ups & downs. Fab medal & good atmosphere in the pub before too.

Nice course, fairly flat with little bits of up and down. 

A great race, well organised and very friendly atmosphere. Some cheeky hills towards the end that should be flattened for next year!! 

Loved it. Great course, mixture of flat and some inclines. Fabulously scenic running along the river. Great and friendly marshals. Awesome medal at the finish.

I absolutely loved this run! It was really friendly and I was supported all the way. The course is really interesting and is mostly flat , with a lovely run along the river. I cant wait to do it again next year. 

Good race and good atmosphere. Unlike some races, number pick up was very efficient. Friendly marshals. Suggestions for improvement would be to email the results (or a hotlink) out, and give results by chip times, as well as gun times.

Very easy to find the start, used the park and ride as its only a couple of minutes from the start and only had to wait a couple of minutes at either end for the bus. Great race route with majority away from roads, great day.

Very well organised race;  good course and lots of support around the course.   Excellent marshals.   Lovely medal.

Very good race with a relatively flat route by the river ribble.

It was a good run. Shame about the wind which hindered quite a run of the runners

Only issue was as I was at the back the 1st corner where we had a go round again.  A few people had got down the path and had to go back round.  As I was nr the back it was quite lonely in places. 

Loved taking part in this Hunters 10k, great course and fab marshalling , defo do it again (its not a flat course tho as described ) haha !!! PS great medal too 

Brilliantly organised, marshalls were fantastic, lots of encouragement. Will run again next year!!

At the beginning of 2018 I set myself a personal goal to run 12 organised 10k's this year , 1 per month.After my original run for January was cancelled I searched for something local to do instead, A friend of mine suggested the hunters , he had done it the previous year & told me I would enjoy it, taking his advice I booked & looked forward to it. On the day getting to the venue was stress free & a park & ride scheme had been organised to relieve congestion around the start & finish point.The route was well planned , the marshals were very supportive during the run making the atmosphere good ! I will be running this event next year & possibly every year afterwards.

It was a really great race and only missed out on my pb by 9secs - however I went off too fast and mentally found it a tough race - but it was the first one of the year ! Will definitely do again next year

The event was really well organised. No queuing for numbers and in a very nice warm place...the Hunters. The atmosphere was good and there were a few spectators encouraging us along the way

Brilliant 10k well organised and a great course probably one of the best. 

Enjoy the run along the River Ribble shoreline in this scenic 10k course around Lostock Hall. Expect lots of supporters lining the course and a very local race vibe. Come for the finisher's medal and kick back in the Hunter's Pub just metres from the finish line.
