Wonderful location, good terrain thought the two hills (halfway and the end) were tough. Magical running by torch light to the finish n front of the house.. A memorable run.

A beautiful setting, a lovely sunset. Course dark in places so head torches were advised. The lights at start/finish line created really nice vibe.

I really enjoyed the event which was well organised. The course is quite tough with some good hills to test the runners. My only gripe would be the distance, I covered approx 6.35 miles. I would recommend the race and will run it again in future

All good, but where there were areas which were particularly uneven, such as exposed tree routes and mole hills etc, it could have done with a few more marshals to highlight it, as even with strong torches shining down, a lot of it wasn't visible until it was almost too late, meaning runners needed to shout back to warn those behind. It might also have been a bit more enjoyable without the 5k stampede flying round behind us and needing to move out of the way for them, although understand that this was probably due to the date change causing light to fade earlier.
