Route information
There are several route options in the area which visit both sides of the valley. Regarding the trails, there is something for everyone as they vary from pine woods to rocky exposed routes. You will be running for approximately 6 hours a day including a stop for lunch.
As it will be a full day running, the guides will be able to explore some of the higher trails of the Chamonix valley, meaning you will see the valley at its best, including stunning views of Mt Blanc and the Aiguilles. You will also receive guidance on trail techniques that will make you a more proficient trail runner.

Shuttle Service
Transport to/from Chamonix via Geneva can be booked via one of the many minibus operators (e.g. Chamexpress, Mountain Drop-Offs, Alpybus, or Easybus) that provide a regular shuttle service if you are a group the organisers can arrange this and can be added to your invoice.

The minimum age requirement for this event is 16 years of age, entrants below this age must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.

Do I need to purchase a lift pass for the Intermediate Alps course?
If you wish to take the lifts at any point during your stay you will need to purchase a lift pass as these are not included in your ticket.
When should I arrive in Chamonix for the Intermediate Alps course?
Participants should arrive at the accommodation on Friday afternoon or evening.
Do I need to be an expert runner to take part in the Intermediate Alps trip?
No you do not need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable spending most of the day out on the trails. You are encouraged to take part in the Introduction to Alps course prior to signing up to this if you believe you are a beginner.
How many miles does the Intermediate Alps course include?
The trail runs will cover approximately 20 miles (32k) across two days
