Join in on a spectacular trail day in the Cotswold Hills aimed at beginners to off-road running, but also open to all levels and experiences of running. Come to learn a new skill, learn basic navigation, and gain some confidence to get you on you way to becoming an experienced trail runner.

  • Fully guided by two qualified running guides along spectacular Cotswold scenery
  • Learn new skills and grow your running confidence. Sessions on running technique, navigation basics, tips, technique, workshops and evening inspirational talks
Logistics and schedule

Distance: Approx. 8+ miles

Arrival this morning at the base camp in Broadway for 09:00. You'll catch up over coffee and tea which gives you a chance to meet the rest of the group and a briefing of what you can expect from the day ahead.

You'll begin with a workshop on trail technique, getting your gear ready and head straight out onto the Cotswold hills for some spectacular trail running.

Taking an easy and sociable pace the morning run includes a tutorial on running technique and how to approach and descend hills.

You'll be out on our feet for between 3 - 4 hours including the stops we make.

There will also be a session on the basics of route navigation.

The support vehicle will be with you the entire time to provide snacks and drinks, with plenty of stops to take in the jaw-dropping Cotswold views.

You'll get back on the trail after lunch to test out what you've learnt this morning, running some beautiful kilometres where you route back.

Back at the base for good byes with an expected departure of around 17:30.

You should also prepare for the chance of rain and wind, as well as bright sunshine.
