Route information
There are many route options around the area that will take you to both sides of the valley. The trails vary from pine woods to rocky exposed routes, something for everyone. The routes will be between 13k to 15k which will provide you with fantastic breathtaking views of Mt Blanc and the Aiguilles. Each run will last approximately for 3 hours per day.

Shuttle Service
Transport to/from Chamonix via Geneva can be booked via one of the many minibus operators (e.g. Chamexpress, Mountain Drop-Offs, Alpybus, or Easybus) that provide a regular shuttle service if you are a group the organisers can arrange this and can be added to your invoice.

The minimum age requirement for this event is 16 years of age, entrants below this age must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years of age.

Do I need to purchase a lift pass for the Introduction to the Alps 26k?
If you wish to take the lifts at any point during your stay you will need to purchase a lift pass as these are not included in your ticket.
When should I arrive in Chamonix for the Introduction to the Alps 26k?
Participants should arrive at the accommodation on Friday afternoon or evening.
Do I need to be an expert runner to take part in the introduction Alps trip?
No this event is an introduction for all runners, this is a beginners event and every runner is welcome to join.
How many miles does the Introduction to the Alps course include?
All runners will run between 13k to 15k a day, totalling in 26k over the two days.
