What’s Included

There will be a medal and finish line goodies for all finishers.

There will be prizes for race winners and winners of vet categories, plus team prizes and a special series prize for 1st Male and 1st Female.

Course Details

The Ipswich Summer Series comprises a two-lap, undulating course using the paths around Christchurch Park. The route will be marked with directional route arrows and marshalled to provide additional assistance.

Raceday Logistics

Let's Do This always recommend that you arrive at least 45 mins before your start time so that you have enough time to both register and prep for the race start.

Facilities:

Nearby Parking (pay and display)
Public Toilets Nearby
Baggage Drop Off

First Aid:

St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.

Results:

Points scored in each race count towards overall series prizes, with the best three races to count towards the final series results.

Your individual time and position will be recorded by manual timekeepers. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre, but please allow time for these to be manually processed. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.

Volunteers

If you would like to volunteer to help at any of our events, there are a variety of roles available from marshalling to helping with event set-up. We offer our volunteers a free entry to a future race and, in some cases, expenses are available. If interested, please contact: [email protected]

FAQs

How do I attach my timing chip?

Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.

How do I attach my race number?

Please attach your race number to the front of your running top or vest using safety pins or clips, securing it on all four corners. Please don’t attach your number to the back of your shirt as it is difficult for our timekeepers and marshals to identify you.

    Hate that hill!
Love the course though and the event.
Feel a bit left out because I don’t run for a club though and would never
Have time to join one at the moment.

Really nice event. Good atmosphere. Well organised. Thank you for the work that went into it. Course is only four stars as going up that incline in Christchurch park twice almost killed me.
