One of the best - and toughest Ironman courses - on the circuit. Incredible swim in Tenby - bay is like an arena with fantastic crowd support lining the cliffs. A beautiful sea swim and a smallish run from the swim to bike transition through the cheering crowds - huge buzz. Then a fantastic and scenic bike course - tough but good fun, and hilly run - tough again but a great atmosphere. First Ironman Bolton in 2017 had that year a great atmosphere during the run but wales has subsequently become my no 1 race. Love it to bits.
