Did the 13.1 miles in 2019

This isn’t the most exciting half marathon, it is ran on open roads which are small quiet roads. The course is billed as flat but I would say it is closer to undulating than flat. The last climb towards the finish isn’t steep but it does drag.

This is a good course if you are looking for a relatively fast course late in the year up north. The one issue is that for a large part of the run your in the open and the wind in 2019 was quite severe. I haven’t put it is perfect for a PB but you would have a. Good chance.

This event was really well organised and the staff were super. We received a T shirt and a wooden medal which was quite cool.
