Did the race in 2019
This isn’t the most exciting half marathon, it is ran on open roads which are small quiet roads. The course is billed as flat but I would say it is closer to undulating than flat. The last climb towards the finish isn’t steep but it does drag. This is a good course if you are looking for a relatively fast course late in the year up north. The one issue is that for a large part of the run your in the open and the wind in 2019 was quite severe. I haven’t put it is perfect for a PB but you would have a. Good chance. This event was really well organised and the staff were super. We received a T shirt and a wooden medal which was quite cool.
