The Kent Classic is the final Classic series event of 2021, with all four routes starting and finishing at Lingfield Racecourse. All the routes head through the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, showing off the area's rolling hills, diverse landscape and beautiful wildlife.
The routes initially take you down and along the county border of East Sussex and Kent, before navigating around Hever Castle. The Long route makes its way to the most South-Easterly reaches of the Kent Downs as it loops up and around Sevenoaks before crossing over the Bough Beech reservoir and returning back to Lingfield.
After a tough but stunning day out on the road you will be well rewarded for all your efforts as you cross the finish line. Everyone will of course receive their finisher's medal, but also you will receive beer from Freedom Brewery and other goodies from other event partners.

4.3Did the Middle in 2018
Completed a few Wiggle events this year and this was by far the toughest. Coming from the flat Fenlands of Norfolk the hills were challenging for me to say the least, but still enjoyed this well organised event..I'm glad I chose the Standard route this year but would like to attempt the Epic next year..
5.0Did the Middle in 2018
This was my first sportive, so not got anything to compare it with! Was very glad that I had a gps nav device with the course on it, as when i missed a turning (I was getting carried away on a downhill) it pointed it out to me really quickly!Course knowledge, it would be nice is there were some 5k to go or such signs (not too many!) but a couple would have been helpful. Not sure what happened to my box of gels though!

Excellent, this was my third Wiggle / UK Cycling Events event this year. A couple of signage placements need to be reviewed - the junction came up a lot faster than expected. Wet roads and leaves caused a few challenges in places.

Great, enjoyed cycling on some new roads in West Sussex and Kent.

Is your question about booking your place?
Thinking of doing middle on my own, slightly concerned about safety, were there plenty of people around or will I be on my own mostly, I’m guessing it depends on number of entries?
Hi Debbie, Great to hear you're keen to take part. This does all depend on the number of participants taking part and also your speed vs the other participants. Usually you don't ride most of this alone but It is hard to say I'm afraif.
