Long Route
With 13 climbs to tackle, this is one of the hardest cycling routes in the UK. The first 30k features 4 tough climbs, including the very steep Barhatch as an opener. After a more gentle 40k, you will hit the sharp climbs around Sevenoaks including Toys Hill, White Lane & Chalkpit Lane.
You will finish with a climb around Leith Hill, before a final descent back into Wotton.
Medium Route
This 100k route stays mostly in Surrey, featuring 7 climbs in the Surrey Hills.
Rolling out of Wotton, riders will hit the steep Barhatch Lane, followed by Combe Lane and Boxhill. After a rolling 50k, you will loop around Leith Hill and take a flowing descent back to Wotton.

Start Times
Riders will start in groups of 6, you will be emailed a start time list where you can select a start time between 08:00 and 10:00. If you have signed up with a friend, make sure to request to start together.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.
Aid Stations
The aid stations are located every 30 to 40k and will be fully packed with fruit, cakes, water, and sports gels.
Race Village
At the race village, there will be coffee, cake, and lots of food trucks to try.

You will be provided with the route GPX file closer to the date.
FAQs
What time does the Kent & Surrey Hills Epic start?
Both races start from 7:30am. Please arrive in plenty of time to register and set up your bike. You will also be emailed by the organiser to confirm your start time with them as you will be setting off in groups of 6.

It is important you prepare properly ensuring your bike is in good condition & physically ready for the challenge. If you have an accident or mechanical, we have support at the feeds and sweep van at the back.

There will be feed stations at roughly every 30k to 40k. Each station will be stocked with fruit, cakes, water, hydration tabs & sports bars / gels.
