Beginning in Keswick you will head east turning off-road for a great 10k section with a climb up to 500m. Once up the top take in the fantastic views of Skiddaw. Then, you will take in the forests and quiet back lanes of Cockermouth. On the way back you will take in the smooth gravel tracks in Whinnlater Forest before a lap of Derwent Water.

How do I find out my start time for the Keswick Gravel X?
Riders will start in groups of 6 at a time. You will be emailed after you have booked to choose your start time between 8:00am and 10am. If you are riding with a friend you can choose to start with them.
What happens if I have a mechanical problem with my bike at the Keswick Gravel X?
There will be mechanics at all feed stops to help you and ride captains along the route to offer support, make sure to bring a basic repair kit for small incidences.
What is the best bike for the Keswick Gravel X?
It is recommended to use an MTB, if you are a good bike handler you may want to use a gravel bike with 40mm tyres.
