Route description
Route description

There are no real technical aspects to the course, this will be a truly fantastic ultra offering great variety in terms of scenery & terrain. The courses are approx. 99% off road & feature a fantastic combination of woodland singletrack, forest trails, open moorland & sections of the Lakeside Way multi-user trail & blue graded mtb route. There are also sections on forestry roads (some of which have a loose stone surface).

They are undulating/hilly circuits encompassing Kielder Water. The climbs & descents are generally long & gradual & not steep or technical. Suitable trail shoes are strongly recommended/essential.
