Kilburn 7 Road Race

Kilburn is 20 miles north of York, 6 miles east of Thirsk in the North York Moors National Park. An undulating, scenic route overlooked by the White Horse. The race passes through historic Coxwold – Lawrence Sterne’s Shandy Hall on your left, the Norman Church on your right – the Cistercian Byland Abbey – the picturesque village of Oldstead – back to Kilburn with its Robert Thompson ‘Mouseman’ Workshops, Museum & Café, plus the Norman Church & 12th century Forresters Arms. Race starts in Kilburn, through Coxwold, pass Byland Abbey, onto Oldstead & then back to Kilburn.
