Join in the majestic surroundings of Kimbolton Castle for this traffic-free, closed-road half marathon. Entries are strictly limited to 800. The race starts in the grounds of the castle and heads through Kimbolton High Street and the villages of Tillbrook, Lower Dean, Upper Dean and Swineshead, before returning to Kimbolton Castle and an iconic finish in front of the stately palace.

Route information

The route is a one-lap course on country roads. The course, which is a slightly undulating, but scenic all road route, that passes through Tilbrook, Upper Dean, Risley and Swinshead before heading back to Kimbolton. The Course will be fully marshalled and policed. You must obey the instructions of the marshals and/0r police at all times. You MUST race on the LEFT HAND SIDE of the road unless instructed otherwise by a marshal.

What's included

Registration will be open from 08:00 – 09:30 on race day only. Please ensure you arrive early to avoid that last minute rush.

PLEASE NOTE you will collect your race pack at registration on the day of the event. Nothing will be posted prior to the event.

The minimum age to take part in this event is 17 years old on the day of the race.
Competitors will receive all the elements you would expect from a high profile City Centre Running event, including online registration, chip timing, UKA measured course for 2018, professional event medical cover, high quality medals and a technical t-shirt for all finishers.

Excellent well organised local half marathon organised by NiceTri in the stunning Kimbolton Castle. road course with a few undulations but great support at the water stations.

The start was abit if a free for all no organisations with the pacers 1.30 & 1.45 pacers set of behind each other & no chance to stand near or behind the pacers, loads of space near start to have organised a better start system.
