The KA7 is a 7 mile multi terrain course starting and finishing within the
Abbey grounds.
Courses of all 3 events are not suitable for wheelchairs, are uneven in parts and slippery if wet.
What's included
  • A bottle of beer & goodie bag to all finishers.
  • Trophies and cash prizes for: 1st male and female.
  • Cash prizes for 2nd, 3rd male and female
  • Prizes for 1st male & female V40, V45,V45, V50,V55, V60, V65.
  • Team (3 runners) prizes for 1st male club/team and 1st female club/team
  • Stephen Blades Trophy for the first local runner
  • Marshalled course

8:30am: Registration opens
9:00am: 2 mile Junior Race
9:30am: 1 mile “Mad Monk Meander"
10:00am: KA7 Senior Race Begins
11:15am (approx): All trophies/prizes presented at the race HQ

Kirkstall Harriers is not just a running club but a social club as well. We are active in road, cross country and fell running. Training is on Monday & Wednesday nights at 6.50pm from Kirkstall Leisure Centre.

Did the KA7 Senior Race in 2019
Great route with lovely variety of terrain and scenery. Fantastic marshalls who were out in the pouring rain!
