Kid's Race

The race, held for the 4th year, was great. It started with a kids race, which was enjoyed by around 50 local children. The main race takes in a lap of the village and then heads out of the village via a 'straight mile', then through a farm, through the village of Funtley and then goes off road and back out onto quiet country roads before climbing up into forest and open farmland before heading back to the village green. Its a challenging 10k but well organised with great local support. The winners received small shields, with the large shield, in memory of a local resident and restaurant/bar owner who sadly died last year. Every finisher received a bespoke medal.

Great mix of off road/ mud/ country lanes/ and a bit more mud. Thoroughly enjoyable for my first trail run. 

A well organised race. We were warned at the race warm up. About boggy conditions on the trail part of the race. There were marshals evenly spread along the course. Local people were cheering the runners along. An enjoyable mixed terrain race with a couple of inclines

Really fun course and friendly atmosphere. Course was easy to follow with frequent use of arrows and marshals posted at junctions to e sure safety from traffic.

I loved the very varied terrain, and friendly organisation and participants. Water station was well placed and jaffa cakes very welcome. We live very local and that was a bonus. 

Nice course, though a little muddy(!), Trail shoes would have been handy!  Good atmosphere and support from locals.  Finishing line wasnt clear - could have done with flags or an inflatable.

Race comprises a 10k mixed terrain run around the village of Knowle and the quiet country lanes, passing through the village of Funtley.Medal & Goody bag for all finishers, spot prizes.
