This is the fifth time I have run the Lamberhurst 10k big fan of the new course and I always think it’s really well run and a great way to kick off the new year it would however be great to have a think about an alternative 10 K course that doesn’t require an additional lap.

Well organised ‘there and back’ route for the 5km.Not too challenging (except for that one shortish hill near the start!).Only a few marshals on course but all lovely and friendly.Great way to kick off a new year.Haven’t done the Bewl water route before this, all my previous years have been the road run around Lamberhurst….. Wear trail shoes!

Great race. Only slight disappointment was being told it was a road race, when actually this route is more of a trail course

Down points there was no water stations on this course apart from on the finish line and the course was short of 10k and other runners experienced the same. Beautiful place and will definitely go back again.

Did previous years at Lamberhurst ( Scotney Castle) which I was a big fan, have to say I enjoyed this course even more. Bewl looked stunning with the morning mist. As always well organised by Nice Work with reasonable entrance fees.

I was very pleased the event was on this year. Thank you to the organises for making it happen. I really like this New Year’s Day run and I’ve done the last 4 years in row. My best run was taking part last year 2019 on crutches!!!! It was the most hardest thing I’ve done. As I had Snapped 3 out of 4 ligaments in my left knee. And having the operation January 2020 to rejoin my leg. But was so determined to take part as it’s a great way to start your new year. It was such a shame that you do not get a Prize for competing on crutches!!!!!!!

Well-organised event in a nice location. Course was a bit narrow in places and I would definitely recommend trail shoes (road shoes were advised in the pre-race info). Less challenging than the previous route at Scotney Castle but this was no bad thing - it was a perfect but not too challenging way to start the new year.

A lovely well organised event really enjoyed the run albeit a bit muddy in places. Only criticism the course measured slightly short of 10km (according to my Tom Tom & several other runners from our club) so didn’t register on Strava as my first 10k if the year!!
