Well organised and signed throughout the course. We’re told where to expect mud before we started. It was a crisp, bright morning with blue sky and a buzz in the air. Managed to get a PB as well!! Loved it.

Good atmosphere, fabulous parking facilities and easy, well organised registration. Start of the course could have been slightly better as in the first 2k there were two fairly serious pinch points cause by locked gates and a two-way piece of couse that was a bit narrow for purpose. The rest of the course was however, a joy. A mixture of woodland, bog and a nasty little incline to test the legs near the end all made for an excellent and enjoyable race, even if the '10k' tag was a bit misleading. It was nearer 11k!!

Beautiful views and a lovely, if crowded in places, trail run. Well organised, plenty of information ahead of the race, local (for me), value for money (although only because I had a discount of £10 off the entry price), good parking facilities and an eco friendly medal. Would definitely recommend this run.

Overall it was a lovely course through meadows. Had very few marshals but a lot of signage.Think my only niggle was forward & returning runners trying to use the same narrow path at circa 3 mile stage.Tad awkward that was.Challenging route & the can of coke at the end was most welcome. Thank you Raw Trails

Weather was amazing and the course was lovely. Stunning scenery and the other runners were great as usual :-). Website stated a rolling start between 10 and 11am - this was not the case so a number of runners turned up 'late'. Spoke to a marshal who was rude and unhelpful, "no it started at 10" - and that was it. No distance markers on the course and none of the marshals seemed to know anything about the race. Would have been just as satisfying to run the route alone on a Sunday without paying £22 for it.

Really loved the course. Only negative for me was the fact we got told to bring our own cup or bottle for the water station but there wasn’t one. No water at the end either. It was just coke and unfortunately due to allergic reactions I can’t drink it. Apart from that it was a nice event.,

First time running the lavenham 10k, and it did not disappoint. Communications prior to race day were very good. Parking was super easy and facilities all together. Such a fun course! The only negative I would say is perhaps we could have had a more staggered start seeing as we weren’t set off in similar pace groups. Meant there was some bottlenecks and the course didn’t allow for overtaking easily. Most runners had the etiquette.

At last a local trail run for Sudbury folk! Loved the course. Had everything, muddy in places, running through fields and a climb. Very well organized and marshaled. Lovely medal and a drink and snacks at the end. 10/10
