Route description
The course is a closed 1-mile loop track around the Lee Valley VeloPark, a venue of the London Olympics. Get down to feel inspired and chase down your previous split. There's even a free entry for the kids in the 1 miler.
Course Laps:
- 1 Mile - 1 Lap
- 5K - 3 Laps
- 10K - 6 Laps
- 10 miles - 10 Laps
- Half Marathon - 13 Laps
Schedule:
09:00 - Half Marathon Start
09:15 - 10 Mile Start
09:45 - 5K Start
10:00 - 1 Mile and Kids Mile Start
10:15 - 10K Start
12:00 - Half Marathon Cut-off
It is recommended that you arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of your event to sort out registration and get warmed up.
Spectators are highly encouraged to get down to the VeloPark to cheer on their friends and family. The looped nature of the track makes for a great place to spot runners a few times.
RunThrough is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join their team and help organise these brilliant events. They often give a free race entry to volunteers in return for their time.

By Bus
Several bus routes connect to Stratford and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park with the key routes being: 388, 308, 339, 97 and N205 which all stop near Lee Valley VeloPark
By Taxi
If you wish to depart from Stratford or Stratford International using a taxi then Westfield Stratford City have the Stratford City Cars Taxi Lounge located outside Waitrose on the lower ground Floor (near car park A).
By Car
Car parking at Lee Valley VeloPark is limited and it is strongly advised to travel by public transport, however if travelling by car is essential we are situated 5 minutes from the A12 and blue badge holder spaces are available. Parking is no longer free at the VeloPark, please follow the signs to the parking machines and follow the instructions on the machine, otherwise you will receive a fine. You can also park at Westfield next to the Stratford international train station.

There are cycle routes connecting Lee Valley VeloPark to local residential areas as well as the cycle routes through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
The venue is close Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 1 and Barclays Cycle Superhighway CS2.
