I found the course didn’t have much shade, especially on a hit day and 1-mile loops was challenging for the mind. However, the event was well organised and the Marshalls were really supportive; a few of them really helped keep me going!

Runthrough events are brilliantly organised, great support along the course. Water station. The course is quite twisty turny, but that adds to the challange. But it’s lovely smooth tarmac as it’s its for cycle racing. I would highly recommend.

It was actually the Lee Valley Velo Half Marathon on March 26th but the drop down only showed London Marathon. Fun course with a few inclines that definitely tested you on the map few laps.
