Set against the backdrop of one of the most beautiful historical sites in the UK, the Leeds Castle Triathlon offers a variety of distances for seasoned and beginner triathletes alike. There’s no better way to spend a summer weekend than swimming, biking and running in the Garden of England.

Highlights of the course include an open water swim in the moat, an undulating bike ride that passes through the castle doors, and a cross country run in Kent’s rolling hills.

Leeds Castle Triathlon Weekend routes

Swimmers start on the newly-formed beach and follow a clockwise route in the moat, passing under the Castle’s emblematic arches. Out of the water, cyclists follow the A20 first towards Maidstone and then to Charing, before reaching the Castle’s golf course. The run route offers fantastic views of the Castle, snaking its way through the Kentish countryside and Upper Parkland. The race finishes at the main event area, where there will be plenty of refreshments.
