I did enjoy the race. The course for the 5K wasn't marked so you just had to follow the longer distance runners and hope you were going the right way

Really good set up. Only marked down because of the weather but this obviously can't be helped.

Torrential rain which made it very hard and lots of divets meaning there were lots of puddles. Although this couldn’t be helped. Course was ok but would have been nicer if the course went through more different scenery as a lot of the course was very similar. Organisation was brilliant and organisers/volunteers were very supportive and created a great atmosphere.

The lower score on the atmosphere was nothing to do with the organisers, it was simply because there wasn't many spectators due to the horrendous weather

the course was tricky especially with the weather, uneven surface, deep puddles I saw myself a few runners falling.

The weather did let the event down which could not be helped however, there were weather warnings a few days before and more should have been extra facilities to support runners and spectators such as extra tents, more stewards, an email prior confirming if the event was going ahead or not, email to advise how to run in the elements of heavy downpour etc. A saw a poor man fall and injure himself due to tripping over a pot hole which looked like a puddle. The route was boring and not very scenic. The race not clearly signposted as in which direction to run and there were no signs in km. My sister took part in the 10 mile run but due to lack of signs and lack to stewards got lost, she ended up doing an extra 4 miles! It did not feel like a running "festival" the atmosphere was only lively at the finish line. I was really looking forward to the event and motivated myself to go despite the heavy rain but was disappointed when participating and finishing the race when I saw that there weren't any adjustments had been made to motivate the runners when we got there.

Runthrough events at Prestwold hall toilet number are very low compared to many other events.

I know it was heavy rain but it made the course really unpleasant. We were having to run in ankle deep water on several parts of the course. Wooden ‘medals’ were a bit disappointing. The ribbon didn’t say 10 miles unlike the 5k and 10k medals.

The course is a bit boring but fairly flat so great for a good time. Good organisation, loved the steel drums
