Liverpool Half Marathon & 10 Mile routes

Half Marathon

This is a largely flat route, with only a small climb after the first mile. Runners will be treated to the stunning beauty of Sefton Park, running on both the road and pathway surfaces. There are 4 on course water stations, with toilets at each station.

10 Mile

The 10 Mile is also a predominantly flat route, with a small climb after the first mile. Runners perform a U-turn up and down Aigburth Drive to miss out Sefton Park before reuniting with those running the longer distance at the end of the park.

FAQs

Can I defer or get a refund?

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or defer entries once we have processed them.

What's the minimum age for entry?

Competitors must be at least 17 years old on race day.

Is there a cut-off time to finish?

Usually a 3 hour cutoff time would be in place, but as the last four miles of the race are on the promenade as opposed to road this is not enforced. Bear in mind however, the Marina access bridge at 11.5 miles will be in use, so may hinder your race if you haven't made it here within 3 hours.

Great course, superb support. Love the bands, singers etc. Very organised. Running it . Not one of my favourites for running as I find it tough
  • Did the Half Marathon in 2019

Well organised event, fairly flat apart from an incline around 1 mile. Apart from that I found the course mainly flat with slight downhill parts. Hard going on the pier front if it's a windy day! Would highly recommend this race, I've ran numerous half marathons and 10K but this one was my favourite.

Well organised, once the hill, parliament St, out of the way its a nice course, but if bad weather like today the prom is a nightmare, overall good day.
