Route information
This 11.5k run takes runners all the way around one big loop of the Alwen Reservoir. The course is very spectator friendly, with views over the Denbigh Moor.
The course is made up of gravel, trails, and fire roads, snaking runners through the forest. The course also opens out into vast grassy sections with some stunning views over the Denbigh Moor, but be prepared for some mud along the way.
There will be a water station at the halfway point.

Llyn Alwen car park parking is free of charge. It is advised that you arrive early to make your experience of getting through the registration process stress free.
There will be additional parking on side of track going towards Llyn Alwen.
Please follow the signs and marshal instructions to use the dedicated race parking.

All Canicross runners must run with their dogs in a suitable Canicross harness, attached with a bungee line to a waistbelt on the runner.
