Route information
This 9.5-mile day to night run takes runners around the beautiful Llyn Brenig lake on a clockwise route that covers a mix of moorland path, gravel track, and minor road. Start from the Visitor Centre, you will race past the foot of several Welsh Mountains, such as Foel-goch, and the surrounding Mynydd Hiraethog moorlands before returning across the Llyn Brenig Dam.
Both canicross and non-canicross runners will follow the same route, with the canicross group will set off 20 minutes after the non-canicross event.

Pay and display parking is available and costs £2 for a full day.
By Car
If driving to the event, please make sure to follow the brown sides to Llyn Brenig via the A5 as the postcode is not accurate.
By Train
The closest station is Betwys-y-Coed, which is served by regular trains to and from Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Betwys-y-Coed is about 17 miles from Llyn Brenig.
